Welcome to the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United!
Membership in the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United is open to all paid employees under the age of 68 who are employed at the time of joining the Fund. Read more about membership requirement here.
As a member of an unemployment fund, you may be entitled to earnings-related allowance during periods of unemployment, temporary lay-off or part-time work. In addition, unemployment fund members may be eligible for transition security allowance as well as commuting and relocation allowance.
Service Union United PAM
If you also join the Service Union United PAM, you will, in addition to the benefits paid by the Unemployment Fund, be entitled to a wide range of services such as employment advice, legal assistance, comprehensive career services and other PAM member benefits.
The membership fee of the Unemployment Fund is usually included in the PAM membership fee.
Apply for membership by filling out the electronic membership form.
You can also apply by submitting a completed membership application by post to the Unemployment Fund. We will send you a written confirmation on your acceptance as a member as well as more detailed information about member rights and obligations and how to pay membership fees.
The membership starts from the date from which your membership fees are paid. However, membership can begin at the earliest from the date on which the Unemployment Fund receives your membership application.

Remember that membership of Service Union United PAM usually includes Unemployment Fund membership.
In 2026, the membership fee is 84 euros and it must be paid in one instalment.
If you become a member in the middle of the year, the membership fee is determined by the remaining months (7 € / month), and the due date for the invoice is the 16th day of the month following the start of your membership.
The unemployment fund membership fee can be paid also via e-invoice. You can make an e-invoice authorization directly in your bank (with the payee as the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United), and the e-invoice will be delivered to your mobile or online bank in January 2026. The billing details, such as the invoice amount, due date, and payee, will be pre-filled.
If you are a member of the Service Union United (PAM), the unemployment fund membership fee is usually included in the PAM membership fee.
