Telephone service opening hours extended from 10 August - open until 5 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

PAM Unemployment Fund is extending the opening hours of its telephone service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 5 PM. The change will take effect on 10 August 2026 as part of a trial period running until the end of 2026.

Telephone service open until 5 PM on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Starting from Monday 10 August 2026, the PAM Unemployment Fund’s telephone service will be available as follows:

Mondays: 10 AM–2 PM
Tuesdays: 10 AM–5 PM
Wednesdays: 10 AM–5 PM
Thursdays: 10 AM–2 PM
Fridays: 10 AM–2 PM

The extended opening hours will initially be introduced as a trial period running until the end of the year. During this period, call volumes will be monitored and feedback will be collected to evaluate how well the service meets members’ needs.

Opening hours extended in response to member feedback

The decision to extend the telephone service opening hours is a direct response to needs identified in the Unemployment Fund's 2025 member survey.

According to the survey, nearly half of respondents felt that the current telephone service opening hours are insufficient. When asked about the most suitable time to contact customer service on weekdays, 86 % of responses fell within the time period between 9 AM and 6 PM.
