Face-to-face customer service expands to Turku and Tampere - join us for coffee and cake on 10 August!

PAM Unemployment Fund is expanding its services in Turku and Tampere by offering personal unemployment security counselling twice a week at PAM's regional offices.
The new opening hours will take effect on Monday 10 August 2026 and will be celebrated with coffee and cake on opening day.
Face-to-face unemployment security counselling available twice a week
From Monday 10 August 2026, PAM’s regional offices in Turku and Tampere will be open on Mondays and Thursdays, from 9 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 4 pm.
On both days, Unemployment Fund customer service specialists will provide in-person assistance with matters such as eligibility for earnings-related allowance and benefit applications.
PAM's employment advice services will also continue as usual. In Turku, union representatives will be available on Mondays, and in Tampere on both Mondays and Thursdays.
Welcome for coffee and cake on opening day
The new opening hours will be celebrated on Monday 10 August. In Tampere, the celebrations will also mark the opening of the regional office’s new premises.
- In Turku, cake and coffee will be served on Monday 10 August from 9 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 4 pm at Yliopistonkatu 15 B, Turku
- In Tampere, cake and coffee will be served on Monday 10 August from 9 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 4 pm at Hallituskatu 11 A, Tampere

Expanded opening hours based on member feedback
The expansion of counselling services and opening hours is based on a member survey carried out in 2025.
The survey shows that members value personal customer service in their own area, and that expanding the opening hours of regional offices was a key priority.
The expansion to Turku and Tampere is a direct response to member feedback. From 10 August onwards, personal unemployment security counselling will be more easily accessible outside the Helsinki metropolitan area.
