Payment Dates

The Unemployment Fund benefits will be paid around Christmas and New Year as follows:

Mon 15 December - Earnings-related allowance
Tue 16 December - Earnings-related allowance
Wed 17 December - Earnings-related allowance
Thu 18 December - Earnings-related allowance
Fri 19 December - Earnings-related allowance, Commuting allowance, Transition security allowance
Mon 22 December - Earnings-related allowance
Tue 23 December - Earnings-related allowance, Commuting allowance, Transition security allowance
Mon 29 December - Earnings-related allowance
Tue 30 December - Earnings-related allowance
Wed 31 December - Earnings-related allowance, Commuting allowance, Transition security allowance
Mon 5 January - Earnings-related allowance, Commuting allowance, Transition security allowance

Opening Hours

The telephone service of the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United will be closed:

• 24 - 26 December 2025
• 31 December 2025 - 1 January 2026
• 6 January 2026

The Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Office will also be closed from Tuesday 23 December 2025 to Friday 2 January 2026 and on Tuesday 6 January 2026.
