Invitation to the Annual General Meeting of the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United

The Annual General Meeting of the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United, pursuant to Section 11 of the Fund's Rules, will be held on Thursday 26 November 2026, starting at 9.00 AM at Original Sokos Hotel Vantaa (Hertaksentie 2, Vantaa). Registration for the meeting will begin at 8.30 AM at the meeting venue.

The meeting will address the matters specified in Section 11 of the Fund's Rules. The meeting will also decide on the Board's proposal to amend the Fund's Rules and elect one general deputy member to the Board for the remainder of the current term of office.

Under Section 11a of the Unemployment Funds Act, a member of the Board of an unemployment fund must be of good repute. According to the guidelines issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority, the Board of an unemployment fund must, as a governing body, meet the requirements concerning professional competence both at the time of election and throughout its term of office. Professional competence means sufficient knowledge of unemployment insurance and investment activities in relation to the nature and scope of the Fund's operations. When proposing a person for election to the Fund's Board, it is recommended that the proposal indicate how and to what extent the person meets the requirements concerning professional competence.

The Fund's annual report, including the documents relating to the financial statements, the Board's proposal to amend the Fund's Rules, and other meeting materials will be available for inspection during office hours from 9 November 2026 at the office of the Unemployment Fund of Service Union United, Siltasaarenkatu 18–20 A, 8th floor, Helsinki.
